tabouli..

when i first met with this dish, it was in beirut. this amazing salad's ingirdients are parsley and bulghur and it is really great with hummus and falafel.

after i turned back to turkey, i found a small restaurant which makes middle eastern dishes. for the one who is interested in, owner of this small restaurant is plestanian guys and it is -falafel house- in talimhane.

luckily i will have chance to eat it in its homeland soon again ;)

annndddd yesterday me, my sister and mother tried to make tabouli for iftar. sure it was not as delicious as it was in beirut, but pretty nice :)

here is the recipe, so easy, try it! ;)

1/4 cup bulghur
4 cups parsley (about 3 - 4 bunches parsley), finely chopped
1/2 cup mint, finely chopped
6 spring onions, finely sliced
3/4 - 1 cup strained lemon juice, to taste
1/2 cup olive oil, good quality
Garlic, crushed (optional)
4 tomatoes, firm & ripe, diced
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
